The Supreme Court of India recently guaranteed the right to equality of Muslim women by holding the practice of triple talaq unconstitutional

During the framing of India's Constitution, Hansa Mehta, who was one of the 15 women Constituent Assembly Members, championed the cause of women’s rights in India and International forums.
